We need you. More than 1,000 volunteers are needed to work with the JCC staff in planning and facilitating the Baltimore 2010 JCC Maccabi Experience. You can help make this event memorable for the athletes, artists, our community and for you.
There are so many ways you can assist us and be part of this great event. These are some of the areas in which you can help.
Overview of Volunteer Jobs
Arrivals and Registration
Airport Greeters, bus chaperones, credential preparation
Athletics
Score keepers, time keepers, equipment set-up
Evening Events
Credential checkers, chaperones, guides, greeters and bag supervision
Food Service
Meal set-up, clean-up, snack and beverage distribution, water and ice distribution
Hospitality/Information
Manning information tables at hotels and venues
Jewish Programming/Day of Caring and Sharing (DOCAS)
Facilitate Hang Time (Non athletic competition time) and community service projects
Medical
Physicians, nurses, EMT’s, and physical trainers
Security
Serve as gatekeeper at an event or venue, check credentials for entry, provide traffic control (foot traffic), provide basic event information to spectators
Transportation
Directing and coordinating, chaperones on buses, delivery of meals and beverages
