Hosting

Open your home to an athlete or artist and be a part of the excitement of the JCC Maccabi Experience and the lifelong connections they are making with the Jewish world!

Hosting a visiting athlete or artist is one of the best and most meaningful ways to be a part of the 2010 Baltimore JCC Maccabi Experience. During the week of August 8 – 13, 2010, over 1,000 teens from throughout North America, Australia, South America and Israel will come to Baltimore to participate in a week of artistic and athletic activities.

The Basics:

  1. House at least 2 visiting participants in your home. At least one adult in your home must be Jewish.
  2. Feed the participants breakfast each morning, and dinner on Sunday night and Host Family night.
  3. Transport the participants as detailed below.
  4. Entertain your participants on Host Family Night.
  5. Involve Yourself in the Experience! Attend opening ceremonies, volunteer to help at a sports venue or serve meals, and spend time with your participants.
  6. Attend one Host Family Orientation Night; multiple meeting dates will be offered.
  7. Register your household members online at www.jccmacreg.org by filling out the form at the top of this page.
